St Brendans Care Home in Crowthorne is an impressive, purpose-built home developed to a high specification across four levels. Situated at the end of the village’s charming high street, the home neighbours Wellington College, as well as the picturesque Chaucer Woodland.

Thames Care is a locally owned and operated care company based in Woodley, Reading. We offer our clients living in and around the Reading and Wokingham Area the help and assistance they require to remain independent in their own homes. At Thames Care we provide home care to the elderly, the physically disabled or neurologically impaired. We focus on our clients’ needs, developing individual care plans that take those needs into account whilst ensuring that the client retains as much independence as they wish. Thames Care also offer a Live-in Care Service, where our care assistant lives with you and provides all the assistance that may be necessary, giving you the added reassurance that there is someone available throughout the night too, please gind details under the Care Service tab above.

We currently have two private nursing homes and a residential care home. A residential home is for people who just require assistance with day to day living and personal care. Nursing homes support people who have conditions that require clinical support from qualified nurses, Dementia, Alzheimer’s and diabetes to name but a few.
