The home has a caring team of dedicated and enthusiastic employees led by a very experienced Registered Manager and ably assisted by a qualified Deputy Manager and care team who always provide a high standard of professional care.

Kingsfield Care Home is an established care home located at 252, Abbey Road in Barrow-in-Furness. Kingsfield Care Home is based in one of the original Victorian properties of Barrow-in-Furness which comprises the original building and a large purpose built extension located to the rear of the property. Our purpose built extension is single storey which means that we are able to offer mainly ground floor accommodation.

Established in 1987. Risedale Estates Limited, operates care homes from our four sites within the Furness Peninsula. Our Mission is to provide high quality care for residents and families, placing the residents at the heart of all that we do. We provide a supportive place to work with development opportunities for staff at all levels.

Lonsdale Cares for up to 42 residents with general nursing needs, over the age of 65, and is also able to care for the needs of 3 residents under 65 years. It is purpose built over two floors and contains two passenger lifts, additionally there are 40 single rooms and 1 companion room, all are ensuite.
