In recent years we have enhanced the main house with two modern wings, designed in harmony with the original building, and added a large conservatory. Riverside Lodge has 19 one and two bed properties with lift access, overlooking the River Greta. The estate enjoys the benefits of both a picturesque location and close proximity to the town's central shops and amenities. Across the river is Lower and Upper Fitz Park, which can be reached by the bridge next to the estate. A local manager looks after the upkeep of the buildings and gardens, as well as providing further help and support if required. Surrounding the town is Whinlatter Forest Park, which offers plenty of opportunities for walking.
