Optimo Care Group was established in 2010. Since then we have developed a wide range of health and social care services for younger people and adults with autism and learning disabilities, as well as Home Care services across the UK.

Similar to other south Yorkshire towns, Barnsley’s heritage lies within the coal mining and glass making industries of the past, all of which is showcased at Barnsley’s very own museum. Amongst it’s rich historical past, there are plenty to keep a variety of different generations occupied – from the hustle and bustle of the high street shops in the town centre to the tranquil surroundings of Monk Bretton Priory, there really is something for everyone. Adding to Barnsley’s variety of services is a brand-new branch of Helping Hands Home Care, who offer everything from dementia care to respite care to anyone in need over the age of 18 and beyond. Helping Hands are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), who ensure we are delivering safe, effective and responsive home care, training and looking after our carers properly and have good leadership in place.
