There are several vocational qualifications at different levels you can undertake in social care. They’re specific to social care and teach you the practical skills and knowledge you need for your role or the role you may want to progress into. You could also do a diploma to help you progress; they’re available for new and existing staff of any age.

Our aim is to provide high quality, individualised, client centred care to service users in their own homes in the same way we would expect our own loved ones to be cared for at home. Our staff provide care for people who are older, or with physical disabilities, hearing and or eye sight difficulties, terminal illness and Cognitive problems such as injuries to the brain. Rural Care was established in 2016 by Kerry Johns and Lesley Yeo who have a vast amount experience in the Health and Social Care sector, both having worked for the NHS for many years and will always be available day or night for any queries you may have. The main reason for establishing the agency is to provide personal care to service users in towns and predominantly rural areas and outlying villages. We have recognised that there is a shortfall in the social care sector for these people.
