Our experienced and committed staff of qualified nurses and assistants focus on offering relationship-centred care, which contributes to our ethos of creating a ‘home from home’. Following extensive refurbishment, our attractive Listed building incorporates modern interiors including well-appointed, relaxed living accommodation, communal spaces and gardens which sit alongside a fully equipped nursing wing.

We are a medium sized residential and nursing home located in the pleasant Ffynone residential area of Uplands in the centre of Swansea opposite St. James Park. Our home provides a friendly environment for older people to live in, with the age range typically being from 65 to over 100.

We aim to deliver a provision of the highest quality to individuals who suffer with all types of Dementia, Acquired Brain Injuries (through trauma, stroke or other neurological events), Learning Disability, Complex Behavioural Needs Chronic Neurological Conditions such as Huntingtons Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, etc., Mental Health Difficulties and the needs associated with Palliative Care at the End of Life

However, should short term District Nursing input be required, this will be provided, in agreement with Care Managers, the individual, and the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales, it will subsequently be accessed through the individuals General Practitioner
