Stroud & District Homes Foundation Ltd (SDHF) was established in 1982 and provides care and support to adults with a learning disability across seven Supported Living Homes: Barn Lodge, Stone Haven and The Gables which are located in Stroud. Cotswold Grange and Cotswold Court based in Stonehouse, while Huddlestone and Sadlers can be found in Leonard Stanley.

We are a 48 bedded family run care home situated in Cainscross, Stroud on the Westward Road, registered for residential, nursing and dementia care. Our Home Manager is an RGN who oversees the day to day running of the home.

Scarlet House is located in the heart of Stroud with Stroudwater canal just on our doorstep. Residents can enjoy riverside walks and being moments away from shops and amenities. Our experienced team provide a range of care including residential, dementia, nursing, and respite care. We are known as a ‘home for life’, when a loved one’s needs may change, we are here to support throughout with a tailored care plan. The home is purpose built and has luxury facilities including a modern café, cinema and pub to enjoy! The bedrooms at Scarlet House can be individually decorated and furnished with your own belongings. They all have an en-suite wet room, a flatscreen TV, electronically adjustable beds and 24-hour nurse call system.
