A Registered Care Home of 110 residential and higher need beds including a separate unit dedicated to dementia care. The Home holds full Dementia Accreditation from Hertfordshire County Council Contracts Unit. Accommodation available to both male and female Service Users. The Home was purpose built in 2001 and the 110 single bedrooms all exceed 12 square meters and provide complete en-suite facilities with either bath or shower. They are delightfully furbished with fitted furniture and a variety of floor coverings. Service Users are encouraged to personalize their rooms to make them feel at home. Each room has a radio and television aerial and a nurse call system.

We provide nursing & residential care for elderly and support for young adults and adults with learning disabilities, complex needs, mental health conditions and problems with addiction through our residential services, supported living & outreach.

Mountbatten Lodge is conveniently situated in the heart of Hemel Hempstead in a quiet residential area, yet still within walking distance of a retail park and a range of other amenities. Our purpose-built home offers a range of care services for the older community, including residential and specialist dementia care, as well as respite breaks.
