Greensleeves Care was born in 1997 to take forward a small family of care homes previously run by the then Women’s Royal Voluntary Service (WRVS). Through our history, we have stayed true to a few key principles: we never forget we are guests in our residents’ homes and we consider ourselves to be privileged to share those homes with them. Everyone at Greensleeves Care lives by this ethos. It empowers our residents to influence and drive the decisions that impact their lives.

Whether it’s short term, long term or transitional care for the over 65’s, Crest House Care Home prides itself in offering the highest standards in personal residential care in comfortable, spacious and homely surroundings. Every resident has a tailored care plan to suit each of the individuals’ requirements. Our caring staff have wide ranging experience which has been gained over many years. Personal care is provided around the clock, 24 hours a day and 7 days per week. We also have a nurse call system (mobile and fixed) in every room for added security.

Old Hastings House was acquired by the Magdalen and Lasher Charity in 1981 and is run on a not-for-profit basis. The main building is a fine house that was built in 1700 and became the home for an eighteenth century mayor of Hastings. Standing in its own grounds the house has 44 en-suite bedrooms, three-quarters of which are situated within the two extensions built in the 1980s. Our Magdalen Higher Care Suite has a further 15 en-suite bedrooms.

Cumberland House is a residential care home for the elderly, registered by the Care Quality Commission. We offer long term care for male and female residents over retirement age, who have suffered a mental health disorder.
