We at The Meadows Instow have over 20 years’ experience of supporting people with learning difficulties and/ or mental health diagnoses to lead independent and fulfilled lives. Our aim is to create an environment where staff see every Home as THE Home of those we care for, and not just a place they come to work.

Belmont House has been a care home since 1987 and in that time has had only two owners. The Georgian property is set in lovely private grounds with a south facing garden where residents can enjoy those sunny days any time of the year.

Nearly all our bedrooms are en-suite and are decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard, subtly incorporating technology and dementia friendly features. Residents are welcome to bring their own furniture, pictures and ornaments to help make their new room feel more familiar. Family and visitors are welcome to visit at any time and we encourage you to take part in our activities and events with your loved one.
