My friend has been at Uplands since April 2022. He is a very individual character who has led a very interesting life. We were not sure how he would adapt to life in a care home but Uplands took his needs seriously and encouraged him to continue with the artistic and musical activities that have been so important to him. They allowed him to have his beloved digital piano in his room and paid for the servicing and repair of the grand piano in one of the residents' lounges so that he could play there too. The staff are generally considerate to residents and visitors alike. The "Magic Moments" activities programme is particularly good and some of the musical events that have been organised have been very professional and much enjoyed by my friend.

My father James has been in the home for over 7 years suffering with Dementia and he could not be in a better place , I use to worry when he first went in but it did not take long for my feels to go away. He is always clean, room always clean and he seems happy I could not ask for better care and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is lovely also I would recommend Uplands care home 100% Thank you to management and staff great job in these hard times. Jean

Whenever I visit this home, which is at different times of the day during the week, the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. The residents all look happy and well cared for and have many different activities planned for them to enjoy.
