Eximius Live In Support

I joined the Eximius team in 2018. I was welcomed with open arms. Here I am almost 4 years on, and the things we’ve achieved as a team have been incredible, been rated Outstanding is only one of those achievements. I’m honoured and proud to work alongside so many amazing, compassionate, forward thinking and dedicated people. The pandemic really did show homage to the commitment we all have to keeping vulnerable people safe, well cared for and comforted. I look forward to what our future brings us.

I would like to say how delighted we are with the care and support we are receiving for my father. The carer provided is wonderful! She is friendly, conscientious and considerate and has certainly taken a lot of worry off my mind.

I have been working for Eximius for 10 months now and was supported from the beginning from the managment and also the other companions too. I was recommended to the company by a friend who works here too and i have now recommended them to another friend who is starting work soon. I enjoy my job and feel supported and just as important to the company as the clients we support and their families.

Cannot recommend this company highly enough, we have entrusted Eximius Live-in Care with the care of our Mum since the company opened, Kate & her team are all friendly & approachable, listening to all your needs & concerns, the companions who live with our mum are matched not only for her physical needs but to her personality & interests too. Having live in care for our Mum we now know she is safe, well cared for & her quality of life has improved 110%, we have gained new friends who feel more like family members & watching the relationships build between Mum & her companions has been a sheer joy.

I am a live in support companion for eximius and have been with the company since they started .... and if fact also worked for kate hetzel with her previous company for many years. I have always been treated fairly and with nothing but respect by the company. I can say with all honesty that the service they provide is second to none, not only are they extremely professional in there approach to all aspects of the care package, I also believe they go the extra mile to match clients with support companions. They are in regular contact with the carers (and clients families) and in doing so I believe they supply one of the best services I have come across in the care industry. I have been working so proudly for the Eximius more than a year and from the begining everybody in the office helpful supportive in 24/7 . They are caring not only the klients but companions as well. Prompt respond for your question ... salary on time ....etc ..

AVOID! Pressure you into accepting a significantly lower paid job but they don't tell you. I asked questions for days & despite getting emails from them, questions not answered, essential information not given to new employees while you're told to decide "urgently"!! Unacceptable & unfair. People just wouldn't think any employer would do this Staff will lose money from turning down other jobs & left no choice than to work for less or start their job hunt all over again, still resulting in a massive loss of wages. Clients are at risk of having no care last minute due to staff who rightly so can't go ahead with the lower paid placement which is perfectly understandable. They tried over & over to get my personal number for my DBS even after being told several times they do not need it & DBS themselves have said that. They have refused to answer me when I ask why. God only knows what's going on there, or very worryingly they do not know how to check people's DBS, which puts their clients at a greater risk!! Every other employer has been able to access my DBS with no problem. I've been lied to.....I asked if they could provide information to back up something else they said - anyone would provide an answer at the very least if they had not lied. Too long a list to explain everything. If you want to be messed around, be on a lower wage.....perfect company for you
