Our experience so far with The Good Care Group has been excellent. The staff were efficient, helpful and constantly resassuring during a very stressful period. The carer provided has been kind, thoughtful and professional throughout, settling my aunt back at home seamlessly.

I have a friend with dementia and visit him often. Many of his carers do not give him the best care but, by far the best carer was from The Good Care Group, Helen. She made sure that my friend got out of bed for breakfast, sat with him in conversation and discussing his late wife with him, taking him for walks and showing him nature in the garden. Very impressive.

I have used The Good Care Group twice for respite care pending organising permanent live-in care with them. They have been marvellous, I cannot fault the service they provide. I feel happy that Mum is getting an excellent level of care and I consider Mum has thrived in their very capable hands. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Charming Jessica Monaghan runs the hourly service brilliantly and with passion. She has built a team of exceptional and dedicated carers. Our carer Viviana is the jewel in the crown for us. She is delightful and brings joy to our home. And her cooking is fabulous; healthy and delicious. Thank you for your wonderful care.

I have been very impressed with the help and professionalism of everyone I have come in contact with. Right from my first call to query about support for my elderly mother, I feel that the staff at TGCG treat clients and their families with respect. The senior care manager was very effective in sourcing a carer in a short time and is a good support to us all. My mother is now at home and the carer is building up a lovely rapport with a relationship of trust. This gives me real peace of mind as I live almost 200 miles away. I find the electronic daily notes very useful as they keep me in the loop. They also enable me to support the carer in getting to know my mother. Thank you to all involved.

From start to finish, everyone was very understanding and professional about setting everything up, with all aspects covered as regard to my husband's needs. He has advanced dementia, so no longer able to express his wishes. The carer was wonderful, very friendly and calm as she got to know him. I felt confident that she would cope with him as I left the next day for a much needed break with my son and family. We had some video calls to keep in touch and any queries I could answer by text. I came back feeling refreshed, not needing to be "on duty" for 6 days. This has taken a great weight off my mind about finding suitable care for respite and can look forward to planning my next break now. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Good Care Group. I have found the Good Care Group to be 100% effective and professional. There are cheaper solutions but none better. They really make sure their carers are first class and monitor the process constantly. The supervisors have a good knowledge of the situation in each household and check on it regularly. The carers we have are so good that I now consider them family friends.

I have been using The Good Care Group for eight months now and have been very happy with the service provided, designed to help me become more independent after my stroke. the carers are excellent and their care and consideration is first class. from assisting with physio exercises to managing medication and keeping my spirits up, nothing is too much trouble.

I have used The Good Care Group many times for respite care for a number of years. The carers have always been excellent but I was amazed how well matched the emergency carers were with only a few days notice. I always look forward to when I get a TGCG carer.

My Mum has been cared for by The Good Care Group for over two years. The care she has received during that period has been excellent throughout. There have been some very difficult phases with her health in that time, yet always have her needs been met, not only delivering the required care, but also taking into account my Mum's personality and the things that are important to her. There is a happy atmosphere in her home, with lots of joy and laughter and I feel very reassured knowing she is being well cared for and life is being made the best it can be for her. On occasions where issues have needed resolving these have been dealt with promptly and efficiently and to my satisfaction. I have received unfailingly support from various members of the management team with difficult situations and decisions and they have regularly gone way over and above what could reasonably be expected. Their professionalism and dedication is outstanding. I am immensely grateful for the excellent care, kindness and tremendous support shown to both my Mum and I and would choose The Good Care Group again without hesitation. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for us.

I began my search by deliberately ringing local Care agencies at the weekend, to see what assistance I would find in an out of hours emergency, if we were to become clients. One of those I called could not have been more helpful; whilst unable to provide live in carers themselves, they recommended a company that they frequently worked alongside, The Good Care Group. I decided upon The Good Care Group because of the high calibre of their Carers, their rigorous training and their shared contented dementia approach. I have not been disappointed. Sadly 6 months later, my father passed away (in a hospice) but throughout, despite the most challenging behaviour, mums carers were a constant presence. At every step I felt supported but most importantly I always knew that mum could not have had better care or be in a better place. When mums dementia led to her needing both day and night care and support, The Good Care Group helped and supported mum (and me) with her transition into the right care home. Even now, months after mum entered the care home, I am still supported by the caring texts and occasional emails from the two carers with whom mum really formed a special attachment.
