I am an ambulance care assistant and transport patients. I hate to say how disgusting the care is in this place. The staff at 7.45pm today were just stood about on their phones and when we bought in the patient the room wasn’t even cleaned. The care assistants expected us to move the patient onto a dirty stained bed which even after the elderly woman asked for it to be changed it wasn’t and me and my colleague went out of our way to change the bed which isn’t our job. When the woman asked after 7 hours why her room wasn’t cleaned even that she asked before she went to the hospital the care assistant was very rude to her telling her they were busy and she wasn’t there so they didn’t have to clean. This care home needs to be looked at and some serious improvements need to be made because if that was my mum or grandma I would’ve gone mental. These people pay money to live here and the care they receive is a disgrace. CQC will be informed
